Oh geez, this posting is going to be a little weak. Doing what I can though, so here it goes:
Sat - started by lifting first instead of cardio after reading a post by fitsugar. Did a whole bunch of strength moves, for every body part. Then meandered over to cardio machines and saw that they had those spinning bikes and tried that for about 5 minutes, which felt really strange. I should ask someone how to properly use one of those. Then, spent 20 min on level 10, cardio program on an arc trainer. Did 15 min worth of ab work then cooled down with some yoga.
Sun - no working out, ended up going into Boston and got to go to a Red Sox game. Amazingly, ate NO ballpark food and drank no beer, has to count for something
Mon - nada
Today, Tuesday - I'm going on an afternoon run outside with my boyfriend and I can't wait!
That's it, pretty lame, but at least I got a good workout in on Sat, and will do one today for sure and see no reason why I won't be able to get them in the rest of the week through the weekend! How about you? What have you all been up to for fitness this week?
Alessi
Saturday and Sunday had company, so I walked the dogs at a fast pace to the lake and back. Monday, meet with my trainer where we did a series of free weights and machines, some work on the big medicine ball, stretched and then I did 30 minutes of cardio on the elipitical machine.
I love working with a trainer because it helps me finds new ways to do certain exercises and she helps keep me motivated. Also, I will never cop out or miss an appointment. I feel like this is $$$ well spent and what a better investment than in myself and my health.
Today (Tuesday), I'll head off for a walk with the dogs in the morning and then ride my bike over to the gym for some cardio and probably come home and do some pilates on my reformer. The reformer is great for core strength and stretching which helps keep my muscles from tensing up, especially my hamstrings and lower back.
Hope you are having fun workouts as well! Thanks for sharing....
